PJSC "Export Credit Agency" carries out its activity in accordance with the statute, rules of business activity on insurance against commercial and non-commercial risks, reinsurance, issue guarantees, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, internal regulations of ECA.
ECA has a special status and its activity in insurance, reinsurance and issue of guarantee does not require special license. In order to carry out other types of economic activity, ECA obtains the necessary permits and licenses in the cases and in the manner prescribed by the laws of Ukraine. The activities of ECA are not subject to the provisions of the laws of Ukraine "On Insurance" and "On Financial Services and State Regulation of Financial Services Markets".
 

Private Joint-Stock Company «Export-Credit Agency» following services are provided to exporters:

✓ Insurance of contractual bank guarantees – insurance of proprietary interests of a Ukrainian exporter's bank in connection with a failure by the Ukrainian exporter to comply in full or in part with terms and conditions of a foreign economic agreement (contract);
✓ Insurance of foreign economic agreements (contracts) – insurance of a Ukrainian exporter's proprietary interests in connection with a failure to perform in full or in part obligations under a foreign economic agreement (contract); 
✓ Insurance of export credits – insurance of liability of a borrower (a Ukrainian exporter, a foreign buyer or a foreign buyer's bank) towards a lending bank in connection with a failure to comply with conditions and terms of the credit agreement

Private Joint-Stock Company «Export-Credit Agency» of Ukraine (ECA) was created in accordance with the Law of Ukraine " On Providing for Large-Scale Export Expansion of Goods (Works, Services) Originating in Ukraine through Insurance, Guarantees and Cheapening of Export Credits" in 2018.

The rules for conducting the activity of a Private Joint-Stock company «Export-Credit Agency» for insurance against commercial and non-commercial risks, reinsurance and provision of guarantees were approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 21, 2019 №772.
